Easter Egg Hunt
Kathleen has the chance to earn stuff by reading for school. Ryan decided to help her. So he picked some books for her to choose from and let her decide which one they would read together.
She picked Princess Bride (big surprise). They have been so cute reading 30 minutes every day.
The kids are pretty excited about the warm weather now that they can play outside again (of course, not as excited as mom).
Kathleen had a pajama day at school.
We had an Easter egg hunt at our house and invited all the neighbors right around us. It was fun. Especially since we don't know them very well. It was a great chance to get to know some of them better.

This picture is my pride and joy. Some of you may know that I got a wheat grinder for Christmas. Well, I used it to grind some wheat. Then I took that wheat and made pita pockets with it. But guess what. IT WORKED! I know. I am just as surprised as you are. So we had chicken salad in pitas for dinner. They were soooooo good.

Ang, I was going to throw an Easter Egg Hunt for my neighbors, now I would just look like I am copying. I am so impressed about the pita pockets. One of our favorite lunches is chicken pita pockets (I will make it on Monday, and make lots, and we eat it for lunch all week).
I am jealous of your play outside weather. Here, it is snowing and super windy. It's making me a tad stir crazy! And fun Easter egg hunt party. Plus, those pitas sound goooood. Maybe one day I'll make dinner again.
You are an amazing mom! Easter egg hunt for the neighborhood, and 2 weeks early-no less. So organized. Grinding your own wheat-I thought that's what stores were for. We are also reading for Kaylee to go to Silverwood. It's so sweet to see Ryan reading to Kathleen. The kids look so cute! I'm proud of you.
