Ryan & Angela: December 2006

Kathleen got herself dressed and put on her new boots. She had to have her picture taken.

Cody is getting so good at playing with toys. It was weird, it was like overnight he started grabbing things even though I never worked on it with him. He has been doing it for about a month now. He eve got a ball in his mouth yesterday.

Ryan got an airplane for Christmas, so he took the kids to the park to test it out.

Kathleen was much better at flying it than Ryan was. She made it go over these houses, and the houses across the street from them, and it landed on the path behind those houses.

We played dress up with Kathleen, here is Ryan.

Not many of Kathleen's dress-ups fit mom. So we did what we could and played with her salon.

Another fun Christmas gift Ryan got was a blow-up basketball game. It has been so much fun. The kids love when it is by the stairs so they can make it. They also like to lay down or stand under it and get hit with the ball after it goes in the hoop.

Brandon got himself dressed the other morning too. It was so cute. He even put on his coat and boots and his new BSU hat.

For Christmas this year, we went to Spokane to spend a week with family. This is Brandon on Christmas evening. Obviously the day wore him out because try as we might, we couldn't wake him up.

Grandma Lisa is holding Cody on his first ever Christmas. That toy is his favorite thing he got this year. He loves it.

Christmas dinner was at Grandma and Grandpa Spear's house. Here is Ryan carving the ham. He is so cute. This was his 3rd carve of the trip.

Grandma and Grandpa Spear have nine great-grandchildren. It will be 10 when Emily (Ryan's sister) has her baby.

Plumb kids got an table-top air hockey game for Christmas. Brandon loved it. We had a difficult time getting him away from it.

Brandon tried to shove as many marshmallows in his mouth at as he could. It was like he had never eaten before.

Brandon loved his bear. He is so snuggly. But he loved the dump truck even more.

All Kathleen wanted from Santa was to get four dollies (Barbies). Thanks to great-aunty Shysh, she got four excactly.

Here is Cody with mom on his first Christmas. He was more into it than the other kids were on their first Christmas. He even ripped a bit of wrapping paper off one of his gifts. It was so cute.

Here he is all excited over the toys in his stocking.

Brandon and Daddy got matching BSU (Boise State University) hats. It was pretty cute. Note Uncle Jon and Aunt Michelle in the background.

Kathleen loved her Aunt Alyssa. Here they are eating stocking stuff together.

Kathleen and Brandon played Mary and Joseph in the Spear family nativity act.

Kathleen and Brandon spent the night at their cousin's, Tanner and Katie, house. Here they are coming down the stairs Christmas morning.

Kathleen got a Little Mermaid salon from Santa.

Brandon got an Elmo tool bench.

When you look at this tree, you can't even see half the presents that were there. But with so many families all there at once, you can kind of understand why.

Here is Pampa, Grammy, and Uncle Kirt on Christmas morning.

You can see stockings and the toys from Santa here. Katie got a doll house and Tanner got a build your own car thing. Don't ask me what it is.

Kathleen put on a Santa hat, picked up Cody and said, "Ho ho ho, what do you want for Christmas?" It was so cute.

Grandpa Brad played the candy game with the kids. They LOVED it. It was one of the highlights of the trip.

I know the nativity pictures are kind of scattered through here. Sorry. But I thought you would like to see Ryan as a donkey.

It snowed the whole time we were in Spokane. Ryan, Cameron and the kids built a snowman. It was probably 7 feet tall.

On Christmas eve, Kathleen and brandon got new church clothes. Brandon is wearing a tie for the first time.

Ryan won the Apples to Apples tournament that we always have when we get together with Plumb's. So he got to sign and wear the crown.

Brandon had a blast playing with the piano while we were there. He could do some really fun things with it.

Kathleen and Kaylee got dressed to match, then curled their hair and wore it up to match.

We got to be with Grandma on her birthday. That was really nice.

Cody sat on the side the whole time. But he was so entertained by what was going on around him. He loved it.

Kathleen and Brandon really enjoyed this slide. They must have gone down it a hundred times. The kiddie area was so fun for them.

When we were heading to Spokane, we had sunny weather the whole time until we got to the pass. On the way down, we could look in front of us and see nothing but clouds. It was so cool to be above it all. You can see some of the clouds creeping up the mountain. It was a little creepy driving into it.

Katie really liked Cody. She was so cute and so soft and careful with him.

Kaylee and Kathleen are best buds. They had fun playing video games together. Too bad I didn't get pictures of us playing the Wii at the Spear house. That would have been a great picture.
