Random April

I know, I know, I know. I have a whole stockpile of pictures to update. So here they are. Kathleen got an ant farm for Christmas. The weather was finally warm enough for her ants to be mailed. She was so excited when they arrived, but she (and her mother) were too freaked out to put them in the farm. We finally dropped the tube in and made her dad get it out when he got home. But she loves the ants and kisses their glass everyday. Ryan played restaurant with the kids. He let them pick, from a short list, what they wanted for dinner. Then he served it up. The kids LOVED it.

We went to the temple for FHE. The flowers were beautiful.

Kathleen finished her first chapter book. She was so proud. And so were we.

We had weather in the mid-80s last week. It was awesome. The kids got to try out their slip-and-slide that the Easter bunny brought. Brandon LOVED it and couldn't stop.

Cody wasn't sure what to think of it all. But we finally got him to try it out if we turned the water off.

The boys got some matching shirts. They are always so excited to be able to match each other.

Kathleen had to make the habitat of an ant. She was pretty excited about it. I was pretty surprised when she thread the yellow cotton ball through the box all by herself (it is supposed to be a sun).

We were babysitting some friends the other day and they all had a blast playing the Wii. Even the toddlers. It was pretty cute.

They were supposed to collect things they found. Kathleen, of course, was the one in her class to get a bug. She is such a tom-boy sometimes. The other kids all had to take a peek.

Save Chuck!

My favorite TV show of all time has not yet been renewed for a 3rd season. I really hope that changes because Chuck is just the best show ever. I am not a huge TV fan, but this show I watch religiously. The only problem with it is that if you haven't seen the 1st episode, you may not know what is going on. They don't always do the best job of a recap at the beginning of the show. But it is the only show I regularly laugh out loud when I watch, even when I am all by myself. I know, I am a nerd. Maybe that is why I like the show so much.

It was Cody's turn to give the lesson in FHE last week, so I had to get a picture of him. He was so cute and excited. Brandon just relaxin'.

Kathleen can't contain herself. If ever there is music on the TV, she HAS to get up and dance. She has no control.

We let our kids have sleep-overs in the playroom on Friday nights. We found Cody and Kathleen snuggling when we went to tuck them in.

Brandon is now officially registered for Kindergarten. Can you believe it? He was so cute doing all the tests.
