Here is what our nursery looks like. We have the Anne Geddes puzzles on the wall and then the bed and crib match with browns and tans and there are teddy bears around.Sorry I didn't close the curtains before I took the picture. But you get the idea.

We like to go swimming every day. It is the kids favorite thing to do. They love it when dady jumps in and makes big splashes.
Kathleen swims all around the pool with her two water noodles. She sleeps really well after we go swimming.
Brandon loves to play with either mom or dad the best.
But we had a fun weekend. On Friday, the Reese's (from our old neighborhood) came over for a BBQ and swimming.Then Saturday morning, Ryan took the kids bright and early to the Hot Air Balloon festival for the take-off.
They loved it and talked about the "giant-huge" balloons all day.They loved the Mickey Mouse balloon.
Then we washed cars. Kathleen was great with a hose.

Brandon, however felt the need to clean the sidewalk instead.

Kathleen had her 4-year-old pictures taken today. I know she still has a couple weeks, but this way we don't have to worry about having a baby instead of getting her portraits taken.





And of course, a picture with Brandon. In this one, the kids were looking at me instead of the camera.
So we tried again, but Brandon stuck his tongue out in all the rest, so we had to make due.

Kathleen got ready for church all by herself on Sunday.But we have learned at our house that one kid can't have a picture taken without the other.

Then Kathleen decided to get in the car all by herself too. Of course, that means getting in the passenger seat, instead of the back seat in her carseat, and wearing mom's glasses.
Dad was having a coworker over for dinner, so Brandon and mom decided to make "gockit brownies." Gockit is how Brandon says chocolate. He is a good helper.

Kathleen has a new friend. Her name is Allison. She loves to play with Allison as much as she can. They are so much alike. Same big build, same energy, same love for princesses or anything girly.Yesterday, Allison came over and the girls were dressed in the same shorts and pink shirts. It was so cute.
Kathleen and Brandon were looking really cute this morning (of course, I think they look cute every morning). We decided to take a picture and they giggled while I took it. It was cute.

Kathleen and Brandon were playing together so cute yesterday. They just played in the sand, on the trampoline, and on the swing. Since Brandon can't swing himself, she got on with him to swing them both.Kathleen has gotten really good at swinging all by herself and "pumping her legs"
Of course, almost every day at some point, Kathleen says, "I'm so hot. I need to cool down." And when she says that, she will go inside and come back a few minutes later with 10 Otter pops and scissors. That's how we play outside.

Ryan and Brandon went on the Father/Son campout this weekend with our church. They had a good time.
Brandon was a little grumpy Saturday morning, so he hid under a picnic table.
But as soon as breakfast was served, all was well.
Then, after breakfast, they hiked up to the sand dunes.Brandon loves, loves, loves to play in sand.He thought it was pretty funny to try and slide down the dunes and slid all the way down one of the biggest ones.
As you can see, that is quite a lot of sand-sliding.
There was also a little lake at the dunes.
They boys came home exhausted, but happy. They brought home some bugle chips they hadn't eaten and Kathleen had a lot of fun making monster fingers with them.


Kathleen told daddy that he needed to go with Brandon again because she wanted to go on another date with mom.

I really, really hate to do this. I absolutely hate the way I look when I am pregnant. I get sooooo fat. But I told my mom I would post a picture of what I am looking like. Embarassing as it may be, here it is. The good news is that in a year, I will look better.

Last night when Ryan put Brandon to bed, he heard him start screaming on the top of his lungs. When he went in to check on him, Brandon had gotten into his dresser and was trying to put on his Batman pajamas. I guess what Ryan had put him in wasn't good enough. So I had to take some pictures of him in his Batman pajamas this morning.


This morning when I woke up and came downstairs, I found this rose on the counter from Ryan with a note that said, "I love you." It was so sweet I had to take a picture and share it. Ryan is such a good husband.
