We had the Reese's over to have our annual chili and pumpkin carve. Ryan and Brandon worked hard on their happy face. Here are the kids with the pumpkins.
Kathleen Did the cat (actually, mom did), and Ryan did the thing on the right. Don't ask me what it is.
Cody sat in his swing most of the time, just observing.

Kathleen loved carving pumpkins once she realized that Brandon did.

Kathleen and Brandon love to help cook. So finally I decided to make them aprons. We took them to the store and let them pick whatever fabric they wanted. Kathleen, of course, picked princesses and Brandon picked Thomas the train.
Kathleen and Allison have a lot of fun together. One day they decided to hold "each other's babies". Alli is holding Cody and Kathleen is holding Emma.

Kathleen and Brandon love to have thier pictures taken. But Brandon was pretending to talk on the phone. As much as he wanted his picture taken, he couldn't hang up on his fake friend for the picture. We put up a projector in our back yard that projected witches flying across the back of the house. The kids love it. Ryan and Kathleen stayed out last night watching the witches.
But we were all freezing so I came in with the cute boys. Look how happy cody was.
And Brandon decided to play a game with his cute pink cheeks, while we waited for dad and Katheen to come back in.

We went to a pumpkin patch this last weekend with a bunch of friends. The kids loved the hay bail tractor ride out to the patch. I couldn't see what I was taking a picture of, so I kind of cut off Ryan's head.

Brandon loved the hay bail maze. He was little Mr. Independent. Kathleen loved it too, although she prefered making dad chase her through it.
Kathleen and Brandon went nuts over the jump house and slide at the pumpkin patch. The whole thing was tons of fun.
Kathleen went to the dentist yesterday. Amber Reese is our Hygenist and Kathleen loves having Amber clean her teeth. Kathleen says she is going to be a dentist when she grows up and loves cleaning mom's teeth.
Cody has gotten really smiley. He will smile almost anytime he gets attention.
Dad loves his kids. And they love him too. Here they are all snuggling in pajamas after bath time.
Ryan finished our attic so we can now store things in there. The kids thought it was pretty cool.

Kathleen has really been into curly hair lately, so she begs mom to put her hair in braids at night so it will be "curly like Jill" in the morning. Brandon puts on his backpack everytime we take Kathleen to school or pick her up. He loves to go to school, even if it isn't for him.

We got a new camera, so Ryan decided he needed to take a picture of himself.

And mom. Ryan told me specifically to take one in the mirror so people could see the new camera. Well, here it is. It is much smaller than our last one.

I just want to apologize for not updating the blog recently. We bought a new digital camera since the flash on the old one broke and would cost so much to repair. We love our new camera, but we can't get the pictures on the computer. So we are currently trying to figure that out. As soon as we do, don't worry. You will see new picutures of our beautiful children. In the meantime, enjoy their professional pictures.

Ryan and the kids are making a play house. Ryan decided to let them help him paint. Of course, that meant paint everywhere! Mom made them hose off before coming in the house.

On Sunday while we were watching conference on TV, we put up our Halloween decorations. The kids loved them. Kathleen really wanted her finger on her head for this picture. So Brandon did too, even though he had no clue why. But Kathleen was doing it.
There aren't many pictures of mom with cody. I guess I am hesitant to take them since I am so chubby. Notice the spider web in the arch. Ryan does a great job with the webs.
