Hairs Cuts

My boys worked on a puzzle while I wrapped Christmas presents in the laundry room. They were so cute. It is such a punishment to have a big sister with a ton of dress-ups and only one boy dress-up.

Kathleen and I decided our hair was too long and it needed to be cut. Here is the before:

Sometimes a girl just needs a picture of her handsome husband. Especially when he is this handsome: We asked Brandon what he wanted for dinner and this is what he got out. It was so cute I couldn't say no. So Ryan and I fed our kids strawberry milk, croutons, and pineapple (and a few items we chose to complete the meal).

Cody has been feeling ill. I took him to the doctor today (can you see the rash on his face). Poor kid. He didn't sleep last night, so I guess it makes sense that he would fall asleep on the couch, and in the car, and everywhere else today.

I know what you are thinking. It's about blasted time. And yes it is. I finally finished painting. If you recall, I painted downstairs in my house over a month ago. I stopped at the stairs. Well, I finally finished the stairwell and the hallway.

Disney on Ice

Playing Hide and Seek in the rain. Can you find them?

Brandon has gotten quite good at writing his name and loves to practice. Aren't those some cute little hands?

We took our kids to go see Disney on Ice this weekend. I must admit, I was a bit nervous about spending that much money, then taking a 2, 4, and 6-year-old to watch it. I thought they might get a little crazy. Turns out, they LOVED it. I didn't see the boys move for over an hour at one point. And Kathleen was so excited, the she couldn't hold still in her chair. They even played "Disney skating" when they got home. (Although, if you asked them what they did for fun that day a few hours later, not one of them remembered having gone at all until prompted).

We colored pictures of Jesus walking on water during FHE. For some reason we took a picture of Brandon's only.

Who do you think Cody takes more after? I would guess not his mom.

Every year about this time, I buy a bunch of nuts to crack open and eat (just for fun). Well this year the kids totally are getting into it. They love it even. I might have to buy more nuts.

Trick-or-Treat! Trick-or-Treat! Tick-or-Treat!

What happens when you give boys a bath with bubbles? Well, they become Santa Clause. Except for Cody, who becomes, "Ho, (cough) ho, ho (cough)." I guess one shouldn't stick their entire face in the water to achieve said Santa. For Halloween breakfast, we had orange pumpkin-shaped pancakes.

For dinner we had Meatball eyeballs, deviled eggs, spider rolls and spiderweb soup. Mmmm.

Kathleen loves to light the pumpkins. However, it is a bit tricky with a lighter with a safety lock.

The reason I titled this post, "Trick-or-Treat! Trick-or-Treat! Trick-or-Treat!" is because that is what Cody would say at each door as he excitedly jumped up and down, unlike any two-year-old I have ever seen. Than, after he would receive extra pieces of candy for his cuteness, he would respond, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

We went out with Brandon's buddy Isaac.

The kids got way too much candy. Oh the beauty of sub-divisions.

My uncle Tony is an amazing Halloween entheusiast. He builds a gigantic dragon each year that is AWESOME! Well, this year he must have gotten a little bored because in addition to his dragon, apparantly he build a three-story haunted house. Too bad we don't live closer to Uncle Tony.
