We got wood blinds yesterday. Woohoo. Ryan installed them himself. He did a really good job.

Kathleen asked to hold Brandon yesterday. She does that a lot. Brandon loves to be held, but absolutely not by Kathleen. He has never let her hold him, even when he was a baby. But for some reason when I put him on her lap, he just grinned and snuggled her. It was the cutest thing.

Ryan's family came to visit for the weekend, and the only picture I took was this one of Kathleen snuggling Uncle Jon and Aunt Michelle. She loved their attention.
I was taking a picture of Kathleen in a scarf (see below) and Brandon just had to have his picture taken too. So he posed. It was so cute.

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. The never-ending tiredness of pregnancy and the morning sickness that lasts all day, not just the morning, have really been getting to me. But other than that, we are all doing well and excited for "the baby in moms's tummy." That's right, Moms's.

Guess what! We really are having a baby. We are officially due on July 22nd. There was some concern of multiple births, so we had an ultrasound to be sure. Whew! Just one. Here is a close up of the baby:

I took this citizenship test and I passed! Woo hooo! I guess I am a true american (I won't tell you how many I guessed on versus how many I actually knew).

A couple days ago, Brandon started having breathing problems. Needless to say, mom was a nervous wreck. Since Grandma Lisa put it in her Christmas card, there is no use in keeping it secret, but we are expecting another baby. So those hormones made mom even more crazy. But after 3 hours in urgent care and x-rays and lots of drugs and steriods, Brandon is doing very well. He has to be on a Nebulizer 3 times a day. He is so brave. For Christmas this year, Angela's brother Jared and his wife Heidi came to visit. It was so much fun. Sorry it has taken us so long to put these pictures up, Heidi.
Here is mom and Brandon on Christmas morning. Brandon is known for his clumsiness. Which would explain the bruise on his cheek. He and the tile floor don't get along at all.

So we told Jared and Heidi about how clumsy Brandon was, but I don't think they quite believed us until they came to visit this weekend. Then on Christmas morning, Brandon came down the stairs and saw his new train track set and ran right for it. Unfortunately he didn't see the couch between him and the train set and slammed right into it. We couldn't help but laugh. Here is a picture of classic Brandon, face down on the floor, Christmas morning. Luckily he is a good sport.
