Pumpkin Fun

It was time to pull out the Halloween costumes. Cody love the horsey costume and barked like a dog whenever he saw it. But once we put it on him, he freaked out. After the kids were all costumed up, we went to the trunk-or-treat at our church.

Then the kids made halloween shaped jello.
We had the Reese's over for our annual pumpkin carve-chili dinner. I guess the pumpkin Brecklyn picked was too heavy to cary, so Kathleen helped her.
Brandon spent an hour gutting his pumpkin. He was so cute.

Cody loved looking inside "his" pumpkin.
Cody and Dawson were so cute playing together.

Ryan gutted these four pumpkins to carve, in addition to Brandon and Kathleen's. Grandma Spear would be proud.
Kathleen got her pumpkin on a field trip to the pumpkin patch. She drew the picture on it and carved it all by herself. It is the smallest one. Brandon's (on the far right) has a few holes in it that he drilled himself.
These are the pumpkins Ryan carved (the one on the right being Brandon's that he didn't finish). Ryan always has to do a pumpkin "pi".

Ryan is such a dork with his pumpkin "pi". But I guess Jared isn't much better.

OK, I just read this post about the "Pi." Now it's just a toss up between nerd and dork ;)
