Our Week

This weekend we watched Conference, and pulled out pictures so our kids could try and match them to who was speaking. Kathleen decided to line them up on the piano for a better look. Brandon and Cody (and cousin Xander) got Lightning McQueen Pajamas.
Daddy and Brandon sleeping between sessions of conference.
We decided on Sunday to make sugar cookies. The kids were great at decorating.

And even better at eating them.

I had my first experience with canning. A friend came over and showed me how to can just a few of my monster amount of pumpkins we grew. I can't wait to make my yummy pumpkin cookies and maybe even try for a pumpkin pie.
We chopped up 5 of our 13 pumpkins and it made about 7 dozen pint-sized jars of pumpkin. Luckily I shared with two other people. What would I ever do with 7 dozen pints of pumpkin?

Looks like you guys had fun. I was going to make Sugar Cookies, this week, but now I will just look like a copy cat. Perhaps something else instead....

7 dozen pints! It is so hard to can and work with pumpkin! I'm impressed. You always make conference so much fun. You are amazing!
