Kathleen's Dance Recital

Cody has the biggest smile ever. He thought it was really funny that I was taking pictures of him. I took a bunch because he wouldn't stop laughing. Here is just one of them. Cody went swimming this week for the first time. He LOVED it. Yesterday we went for about an hour and he was in the pool the whole time.
Kathleen and Brandon built this long "bridge" together out of blocks. If you can tell, they color coded them.

We decided to have an art day this week and just did art project after art project. It was a LOT of work.
I had this project left from Christmas time that we never did, so we made it and put it on our tree outside.

Kathleen is ready for her dance rehersal. She is so cute.
And since I took a picture of Kathleen, I had to get one of Brandon hanging on the porch swing.


So for Kathleen's special day, mom took her to her rehersal, then out to lunch, then to a place called Monkey Doo's to get her hair done. She loved it.

Her hair was so cute. You can't tell, but it has sparkles in it too.

And, of course, the boys.
Kathleen's dance recital was titled, "United We Dance." It was dedicated to the soldiers in Iraq.


Kathleen is now dressd, hair done, rehearsed and ready for her recital. There were 52 performances, all between 2 and 3 minutes long. Kathleen was number 30 and 36 (tap, then ballet). Needless to say, we left when she was done.

Then, at dinner, Brandon decided to eat his fettuccini alfredo like a dog, then slurp it in.
