Seattle
Brandon got this awesome shirt for his birthday. He is so cute.
Cody had a play date with his best bud Daniel. They loved playing with light sabers on the trampoline.
Cody woke up while I was in the shower the other morning. When I came down, he had gotten himself breakfast. Yup, you guessed it. Ice cream. Mmmm. And healthy too.
Alyssa, my sister, came to visit again. But this time it was to babysit for us so that Ryan and I could have a weekend away in Seattle. We were sooooo excited.
Here is Ryan in the cab on the way from the airport to the hotel. You may be wondering why I would take a picture of him here. Well, there is a very important reason. The car we are in is a crown victoria. For those of you who know us and our obsession with the TV show Chuck should understand the importance of this to us.
Ryan saw this doughnut shop on TV a couple weeks ago. He was so excited when it was like 10 steps from our hotel.
We took this picture for Brandon because I thought it looked like a Bakugan.
The dinosaurs in the Space Science Center moved. These ones were eating another dinosaur. Pretty awesome.

A six foot person can feel like a 3 foot person at a normal table here. Now we know what our kids feel like.
Butterfly pictures just for Kathleen:

Lunch at the space needle. It was soooo fun. The restaurant rotates 360 degrees every 47 minutes. You can see downtown Seattle, the sound, Mt.Rainier, and even be above flying helicopters. We could have stayed there all day.

I ate something I have never eaten before. A purple potato. It tastes like a regular potato, only purple.

Finally, the main reason for our adventure. The Red Sox. Youkilis (one of our favorite players) is hurt and wasn't playing. But we got there early enough to watch him in batting practice.
Safeco Field. It was fun. Probably 1/3 of the fans there were Red Sox fans. We saw them all over Seattle while we were there. And everyone talked with us and were super friendly when we wore our Red Sox stuff. Even avid Mariners fans were friendly with us. Except the lady at the toy store that shot me with a flying monkey. Don't worry, it was all in good fun.

Wow and it was actually sunny in Seattle! Lucky you!
Rex has been talking about going to your house to play ALL morning. So we really need to get them together, just to shut him up!
