Our Snowy Adventures

We decided to take a trip to Spokane. However, the day we were scheduled to leave, we woke up to this: We were fortunate enough to be able to leave the next day. When we arrived, there was an easy 40" of snow scattered around all of the city, not counting the berms on the side where plows have pushed snow up. We even had the pleasure of getting stuck more than once. Fun, fun.

Wii Mario Kart:

Our coordinating Christmas PJ's.
Sledding off the berm to the driveway: (A berm is a raised barrier separating two areas) Just for you mom.

Cody and Garret had a lot of fun together.

The kids set up a table in the hall at Grandma and Grandpa's and played animals on it almost the entire time we were there.
Me and my mommy:
Sledding on a real hill:
Grammy and Cody:
Cody discovered that he LOVED sliding down the hill on his belly instead of a sled.

Dipping Oreo's in chocolate with Grandma:
Kaylee and Kathleen are best buds.
Watching Chuck; best day ever!
We had to leave a day early due to an expected nasty storm rolling in. There was no snow on the way home. But it was really cold and windy. At some points we couldn't see the road at all from the snow blowing so badly.
Then we came home to this: That's right. No snow except a little in the front yard left over. It was nice to be out of the crazy snow.
But not for long. I guess we brought some home with us.

Looks like you guys had fun. Even if you did dog us (I'm still a little bitter). But at least you traveled safely. Happy New Year!

I think my favorite part was when you described a berm for mom. That was amazing!
