Garden
I guess when you give your kids straws with breakfast they WILL stab the straws through their toast and drink their milk that way.
Kathleen really wanted to do mom's hair one day. So, being the gracious mother I am, I consented.

Next it was Kathleen's turn.

One day while Cody was napping, I did something I haven't done in a very long time. I fell asleep on the couch while watching a show with Kathleen and Brandon. Generally I don't trust them enough to sleep. I guess I was exhausted. But the cutest part is that Kathleen got the camera and took a picture of me. Pretty cute of her.
Kathleen made pancakes all by herself last weekend. I can't believe how grown up she is.
We decided to rip out some of our grass to make room for a garden. The kids were a great help. (You should note the sarcasm intended in that last sentence).
We also planted flowers, which is new for me.
Here is our garden space.
Kathleen has her very own pot of flowers she picke out, planted, and hopefully will keep living.
Kathleen and her daddy went on a date (laser tag) last week, so the boys and I took the cushions off the couch (for jumping purposes), made popcorn, then watched a movie. By the way, sofas are much more comfy with the cushions ON.
Dad and Brandon fell asleep together this weekend. Since I can't remember the last time either of them took a nap at all, I had to take a picture of the occasion.
Any time Cody sees the camera, whether or not it is intended for him, he grins and says, "Cheeeeeese!"
Here he was trying really hard to shine the light from this toy onto his tummy. But of course, I was too slow with the camera to get it.

I am excited for your garden, however, I am trying to figure out what corner of your yard this is?
P.S. I LOVE the pic of you napping
